Welcome to the Beacon Hill Women’s Forum Book Group for the 2025-2026 season!
We look forward to gathering together to discuss great books and, most importantly, to make new friends. There is nothing like finding a kindred spirit, and if you are new to the Forum, we particularly want to welcome you to book group. We love to read, but if you haven’t read the book – please still come!
This year we will journey throughout New England. We hope this will create great conversation and friendships that inspire us to make our community an even better place to call home. A few of our gatherings will feature Author Talks as well as Sip & Shop events at the bookstores on Charles Street.
A few logistics:
- We meet at the Liberty Hotel on the third Tuesday of each month at 7:00pm on one of the catwalks above the lobby. We’ll make sure the concierge knows where to direct you if our location in the Hotel changes.
- Please RSVP on the website to attend. There is no waitlist, but it is helpful to know how many people plan on attending. Of course, we understand if things come up, so if you aren’t able to attend at the last minute – no worries, just let Jackie McBride or Maryellen Callanan know.
- If this is your first time, feel free to email Jackie McBride or Maryellen Callanan and she will make sure you find us. Many of us all remember our first time attending and walking around the lobby trying to locate the group – we’ll try to make this less awkward, but no guarantees!
- The book group welcomes those who have not yet joined the Beacon Hill Women’s Forum—a perfect opportunity for those interested to try us out! To become a member, please click here.
