The Problem

If you are having trouble registering as a new user using the Safari web browser on an iPhone, iPad, Macbook, or other type of Apple product, please read the following suggestions. You may see a yellow warning box with the text:

“Your browser settings are preventing this content from being displayed. Check your privacy settings regarding third-party cookies. See more details at Cookie Policy.”

This may prevent you from continuing your membership registration. This means your cookies are not enabled on Safari.

See the sample screen shot from an iPhone with the yellow box.

The Solution

Fortunately, there are two solutions, and both are easy!

SOLUTION #1 – Use Google Chrome

  • The first solution is to use the Google Chrome web browser on your Apple device to complete the membership registration. Since the problem is with Safari, you can simply use a different web browser, and the most popular alternative to Safari on an Apple device is Google Chrome.
  • All you need to do is download it from the AppStore if using an iPhone or iPad, or install it on your Macbook.
  • Go to https://www.google.com/chrome/browser/ and click “Download Chrome for another platform
  • Then choose “iOS” (for iPhone and iPad) or “Mac OS X 10.9 or later” for your Macbook.

SOLUTION #2 – Use Safari and enable “cookies”

If you still wish to use the Safari web browser on your Apple device, all you need to do is enable cookies to remove the yellow warning box. See instructions below for iPhone & iPad, as well as Macbook.

On your iPhone or iPad:

  • Tap the Settings icon
  • Scroll down to Safari
  • Under Privacy & Security tap Block Cookies
  • Choose Always Allow
  • NOTE: The exact names of these settings may differ from version to version.

On your Macbook:

  • Open Safari
  • Go to Safari > Preferences
  • Choose the Privacy tab
  • For Cookies and Website Data, choose Always Allow
